Organisation

The club is managed by a voted committee, with representatives nominated as chairman and secretary at each Annual General Meeting.  Each team is managed solely by the nominated staff put in place by the committee (namely Manager and Assistant Manager).  All club players must be registered with the Irish Football Association before participating in an official league match on behalf of the club.

Competitive Teams

Ballygowan FC currently has a first and second senior team setup, both competing in the Down Area Winter Football League’s Division 1 and 2B respectively. The club does not currently operate a youth setup.

Location & Facilities

The club currently trains and plays home fixtures at Moss Road Pitches, Ballygowan, Co. Down, BT23 6JE (council leased).  Facilities include 2 team changing rooms, WC, shower, separate referee changing, parking and equipment storage.

The Club Emblem

The club’s emblem displays a clock tower with “the time is short” slogan.  The clock tower and slogan came from the original Olivet Home in Ballygowan, Co. Down which features a clock tower with the slogan “the time is short” underneath.
